Survey
Sr Bernard Liew is responsible for the cadastral survey, mapping, ICT and geospatial development, quality management and control, financial management and human resource development of the department. He is the department’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Management Representative (MR).
He modernises and leads several key initiatives in Sabah Lands and Surveys Department such as Sistem e-Kadester, Survey Portal Initiatives and GazMis. He is the principal Coordinator for the Sabah NCR Land Initiatives and the coordinator for the MS ISO certifications of departmental key core businesses.
Sr Bernard Liew holds Bachelor (Bc) of Survey (Hons) and Master (Msc) in Land Administration & Development. He is a Board member of Sabah Surveyors Board, Member of Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia, Past Chairman, Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (Sabah Branch) and Chairman of the Department Social & Sport Club (Tankur).
