Y.BHG. DATUK Yeo Boon Hai is currently the Mayor of Kota Kinabalu City Hall. Datuk’s vision is to create a clean, green and liveable smart city for Kota Kinabalu.
Datuk is an environmental biologist from the University of London and an Honorary Doctorate in Civil Laws from European University, Switzerland.
In 2015, Datuk Dr Yeo was awarded the King Fellow Award of European University for his important contributions in the higher education industry. In 2010, the Sabah State Government recognised his excellence service of more than 30 years by awarding him Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu (PGDK) which carries the title Datuk.
