What is the course about?

With faster tools and integrated 2D and 3D capabilities, ArcGIS Pro will streamline your GIS projects. This course prepares experienced ArcMap users to be productive right away. Learn essential ArcGIS Pro terminology and concepts and how to efficiently complete a variety of tasks related to mapping, editing, analysing and sharing geospatial data and resources.

Am I ready for this course?

This course is designed for data editors, GIS analysts, GIS database designers, map designers and GIS desktop application developers who need to map, manage, analyse and share data and other GIS resources using ArcGIS Pro.

To take this course, you must have introductory-level knowledge of GIS concepts, some ArcGIS Pro experience as well as significant ArcMap experience.

If you are new to ArcGIS Desktop, it is recommended that you take the ArcGIS Pro: Essential Workflows course instead.

What skills will I learn?

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Create an ArcGIS Pro project and import map documents and 3D scenes
  • Create and modify map symbology and layouts
  • Import a geoprocessing model and identify potential migration issues
  • Share geospatial resources to an ArcGIS Online organisational site or on premises ArcGIS portal
