The Principal Assistant Director at the Health Informatics Centre, Planning Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia, Dr Hammad Fahli Sidek's career began after he graduated from the University of Edinburgh 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery. As the GIS lead for the Malaysian Health Data Warehouse (MyHDW) from 2018 to 2020, he was primarily responsible for the design and development of MyHDW's GIS applications, like the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre's (CPRC's) COVID-19 Surveillance Dashboard. He is currently pursuing his Master in Health Informatics.
