With over 25 years' experience in geomatics, Gs. Yuzairi Mohd Yusoff is a renowned geospatial technology expert. Leading Pengurusan Air Selangor's geomatics department, he has spearheaded the implementation of advanced technologies like TLS and drone-based mapping to enhance GIS mapping services for water assets in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
Yuzairi has contributed to the modernisation of Alam Flora's GIS frameworks during his 16-year tenure with the company. He implemented innovative initiatives such as the establishment of a Ground Survey Unit and the transformation of the Automated Vehicle Locating System (AVLS) with a focus on cost and operational efficiencies.
His expertise has been sought after internationally, where he has consulted on various GIS projects including the KL-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project.
Yuzairi holds a degree in Land Survey from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and has been a member of the Institute of Geospatial and Remote Sensing Malaysia (IGRSM) since 2019.
