Ir. Md Fuad Bakri is a seasoned engineering professional with a distinguished career spanning decades. Beginning his journey in building contracting and civil consulting, he has since dedicated his expertise to the utility sector, particularly water supply in Johor.
During his time at Ranhill SAJ Sdn Bhd (Ranhill SAJ), he pioneered the adoption of object-oriented GIS in the early 2000s. This initiative, fueled by strong collaboration among various teams, marked a significant step forward in the digital transformation of water management in Johor.
He spearheaded Ranhill SAJ's 2022 system migration, establishing the I-Asset website running on ArcGIS to support planning, operations, maintenance, command center functions and customer services.
In his last role as Head of Asset Management prior to retirement, he oversaw GIS and hydraulic operations, driving the advancement of water infrastructure and management practices in the region with his leadership and expertise.
A graduate of Louisiana State University with a BSc in Civil Engineering, Ir. Md Fuad Bakri is a registered professional with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
