Raymond De Lai is the GIS Manager for Wilmar Sugar Australia and has close to 30 years’ experience with GIS. He has led the implementation of an Enterprise GIS solution for Wilmar Sugar to drive business value in agricultural supply management and asset management. Raymond was formerly the Centre Manager of the Herbert Resource Information Centre – a collaborative partnership that was established to provide GIS services to the cane growing and milling sectors, local government and agronomic service providers. Wilmar was a founding partner of this body. Raymond has tertiary qualifications in both GIS and Management, and has been a keynote speaker on GIS in agriculture at many international events.
