TPr Rozita Binti Hamit is a professional town planner with 30 years of experience in urban planning.
In her current role as the Director of PLANMalaysia@Pulau Pinang, TPr Rozita leads planning of various urban redevelopment efforts in Penang.
Prior to joining PLANMalaysia@Pulau Pinang in 2021, she held various leadership positions in key planning agencies such as the Department of Town and Country Planning, Melaka Town and County Department, and Majilis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya. During this time, she was involved in 19 urban planning projects which include the Melaka and Negeri Sembilan Structure Plan, Melaka Heritage Site District Local Plan, and RTC Kuala Lingi Special Area Plan among others.
TPr Rozita holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Science in Planning Housing from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
