Improving Sabah's cadastral data access through GIS

As the custodian for cadastral, land registration, and valuation data, the Sabah Lands and Surveys Department (SLSD) scope covers around 73,904 square kilometres.

This data is accessed by its own staff, other government departments, private organisations, and the public.

This case study examines how the process was streamlined and optimised - from once needing to be at the office to retrieve the data physically, to developing and using a mapping app for immediate access on-the-go.
