The innovative solution reshaping Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri
One of Malaysia’s youngest councils, Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri (MBIP), has implemented a web-based GIS platform to enable self-service of geospatial information across its departments, improve data management and transparency, and create more efficient workflows.
Like many other councils and organisations, MBIP operated point-to-point data sharing workflows, which made it difficult to provide stakeholders across the business with intuitive access to important data.
The web-based GIS platform has digitally transformed council’s operations, ensured efficient allocation of funds to support the city’s rapid growth.
