Abdul Azhar Bin Ibrahim

Abdul Azhar is the Head of the Geospatial Information Management Unit for the Penang State Information and Technology division. He possesses 25 years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from USM Malaysia. Abdul Azhar served as a Systems Analyst for the Penang GIS (PeGIS) Pilot Project in 1996, specialising in development and databases. He is a member of several GIS-related committees and has presented several papers at national and international levels.
