Sharefah Nor Aliah binti Shareh Nordin is currently the Assistant Director of the Malaysian Centre for Geospatial Data Infrastructure (MaCGDI) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE). She has been serving the government of Malaysia for almost 7 years. Prior to joining the government she was attached to a few multinational computer companies supporting regional customers. She holds a Bachelor Degree Computer Science (Hons) in Network from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Sharefah Nor Aliah Binti Shareh Nordin specialises in the management of Geospatial data. Currently she leads the Malaysia Geospatial Online Services team that promotes the sharing of geospatial information among government agencies in a secured environment. Due to her passion, knowledge, exposure and industry experience she is frequently consulted in the development and use of geospatial data for the government sector.
