Leading the planning and development activities at Shah Alam City Council, Nurul Sheema has played an integral role in the development of Shah Alam GIS – iMapSA and the implementation of the city’s Integrated Information System for Planning Approval.
She has also been involved in the development of the E_publisiti for Shah Alam Local Plan 2035 project and has been part of the team establishing Shah Alam Command Centre. Responsible for planning, mapping and updating digital land use information for the city, she oversees the development and management of council's GIS.
Nurul Sheema holds a bachelor’s degree in town and regional planning and is a corporate member of the Malaysian Institute of Planners and is a Registered Town Planner with the Board of Town Planners, Malaysia.
