Integrating spatial data streamlines process and workflows

Negeri Sembilan's seven districts have struggled with a lack of consistency and transparency in their decisions due to uncoordinated decision making and data sharing processes.

PLANMalaysia@Negeri Sembilan, State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN), and Information Technology Management Unit (UPTM) came together to find a solution, launching the first iteration of Negeri Sembilan Geographical Information System (GIS9) in 2003.

The platform has promoted greater collaboration and improved efficiency in their planning and data collection processes.

Explore the components of GIS9 and take a closer look at the developments that have been added in the latest release and see how the technology is being leveraged to support other national, large scale projects.
