- Where do I start with my training?
If you're starting your GIS journey and have no background knowledge, we recommend Introduction to GIS with ArcGIS to understand GIS technology and explore basic ArcGIS Pro tools.
If you're new to ArcGIS but have some experience with GIS technology, you can start your training pathway with ArcGIS Pro: Essential Workflows, to explore the tools available within the software.
- I have been using another GIS vendor’s software for a while. What course should I take to get with ArcGIS?
If you are migrating from a third-party GIS desktop application, we recommend ArcGIS Pro: Essential Workflows. This course focuses on Esri's flagship desktop application, ArcGIS Pro.

- Where will be the scheduled training courses be held?
The scheduled courses are run at Esri Malaysia's training facility, located in its offices at Unit 3A-1, Level 3A, Tower 2B, UOA Business Park, No. 1 Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51A, Seksyen U1, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor.
- Do I need to bring anything to my training courses?
All material is provided at the training course – including computers and relevant software and manuals.
- If my collagues all wants want to do the same course, can we have a group training session at our workplace?
Yes. Please contact us for information about holding a training course on your premises. We highly recommend this option for groups as it's an easy and cost-effective way to run training events.
- After completing a course, do I get the certificate?
Yes! A certificate of attendance will be provided after each training session. If you have yet to receive your certificate within six weeks from course completion, please contact your instructor.
